Conference: Foresight Norge 2010

Foresight is a general term for all methods that can be used to promote strategic thinking on topics related to social trends and their drivers.
At the conference the Research Council of Norway will present a two-part report that has been drawn up as part of the effort to strengthen and further develop the knowledge base for foresight activities in Norway, including those related to R&D. The report provides a review and an analysis of this new field of knowledge.
The conference is being organised by the foresight consultancy company Foresight Norge AS, with the Research Council as the main sponsor. Speakers both from Norway and abroad will discuss trends, methods and their experience with foresight activities to date. In addition, a number of private and public enterprises will share knowledge and experience from 12 foresight projects.
